Why do Clean Air Yard Care use only Natural, Organic products?
Clean Air Yard Care has been practicing organic gardening since 2010. We follow principles outlined by The Organic Federation of Canada and the Canadian Society for Organic Urban Land Care.
Organic gardening/horticulture is the science and art of growing fruits, vegetables, flowers, or ornamental plants by following essential principles of organic agriculture, such as soil building, natural pest management, and heirloom preservation, as well as the elimination of any harmful chemical sprays on the plants. The use of organic products in gardening and lawn care significantly helps in combating ground and water pollution. This favours micro environments that invite birds, animals and insects into a safer, more abundant habitat.
Pesticides pose a significant risk to pollinators, and these invaluable little creatures contribute billions of dollars to the North American economy, not to mention enable the food chain of much of the planet. We can not do without them. Here at Clean Air, we appreciate the web of connections that these vital insects represent, and we are careful to interfere as little as we possibly can in the lives of the many small critters that share our environment.
All of our fertilizer products are natural and organic. Of course, as well as rejecting the use of chemical sprays on plants, Clean Air Yard Care do not have the emissions and chemical run offs of gas powered landscaping services.
